Assessment of genetic diversity and population structure in local alfalfa genotypes using iPBS molecular markers

iPBS retrotransposon markers, in other words, inter-primer binding site markers based on retrotransposon, have been helpful for the determination of genetic diversity several plants. The study was evaluated using 10 molecular level and structure alfalfa genotypes. A total 280 alleles 50 genotypes (48 local 2 commercial varieties) were obtained by 267 polymorphic with an average 28 per locus, ranging from 9 to 41 alleles. rate polymorphism ranged 86.36 100% 93.71%. number bands marker detected as 26.7. mean PIC value Dice's similarity index calculated 0.14 0.50 respectively. results UPGMA analysis, principal coordinate analysis (PCoA), STRUCTURE demonstrated that could be classified into 4 subpopulations, namely Q1, Q2, Q3, Q4. Nei’s distances 0.0121 0.0359. used this may studies breeding germplasm conservation.
